Jump Forward, Never Back

Forever Forward

On March’s breeze, the clocks will turn,

An hour lost, yet light we earn.

We leap ahead, we won’t look back,

No shadows pulling us off track.

The evening lingers, warm and wide,

Golden hours on our side.

A gift of time, so bold, so bright,

Stretching past the edge of night.

Yet autumn waits with silent hands,

To take away what spring expands.

Why must we fall when we have flown?

Let time move forth—let light be known.

No winding back, no steps reversed,

No fading dusk, no stolen firsts.

We push ahead, the sun in sight—

Forever forward, into light.
